What a wonderful lady Delpha was. Enjoyed many years of working with her at GENESIS. She really enjoyed her time there in helping others. We shared many laughs over the years. Rest in peace Miss Delpha.

Dear Vickie and family.
I am very sorry for the loss of your Mother. It's one of the hardest things to go through, but I know you are a strong woman. May the memories you have of her carry you through this difficult time. God bless you and your family, Vickie.

I grew up loving Delpha. In the early 60's, she took care of me while my parents worked. I have the best memories of my time at the Ingram home. She was always wonderful to me and my parents and sisters, Cheryl and Lynette, thought so much of her. Vickie and Cindy, I remember you two as well. The oldest I was when I was there was probably 5, just before I entered Kindergarten at Whittier. I remember your little dog, Twinkle. I remember the green '58 Oldsmobile. I went with your mom when your brand new '65 or'66 Old's 98 was in and ready to be picked up. Going to swim in the baby pool at Big Hill was always fun. I remember the hardwood floors and the stereo with the orange light that lit up when your mom, at my request wanted to listen to your Beetles album. In later years I got to see your parents at Emmanuel Baptist when I was home from college. Years after that I visited with them again when I was in C'ville, with my wife and first born son. Both your mom and dad were always wonderful to me. Kind of amazing that although I was only 3, 4 and 5, that I would have such vivid memories such as this. I have never and will never forget your sweet momma, Delpha. So happy to know where she is at this very moment. Kimberly and I will keep you all in our many thoughts and prayers during this hard time. I was truly blessed to know your family. Take care, Mark Thomas Myers.
