Obituary of Delpha Darlene Ingram

Delpha Darlene Ingram, 87, of Coffeyville passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Morningstar Care Center in Baldwin City, KS.

She was born on July 1, 1931 at Coffeyville to Albert and Esther McIntosh. Delpha grew up and attended school in Coffeyville graduating from Field Kindley High School and later attended Coffeyville Community College.

She married David Ingram. Following their marriage they traveled while her husband worked as a union welder. They returned to Coffeyville where they raised their daughters. Mr. Ingram preceded her in death.

Delpha was employed at Western Publishing for many years until retiring. After her retirement she enjoyed volunteering at Genesis Food Pantry for many years. She loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Trarbach and husband, Curtis of Lawrence, KS, and Vickie Howe and husband, David of Coffeyville; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Tammy Hewitt; one grandson, Carl Tracy; and ten sisters.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 15, 2019 at the First Church of God with Pastor Mark Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at the Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville.

Friends may sign the register book on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Genesis; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home 306 North Cline Road,
