What great times we had on third shift, the Friday morning breakfasts at the Pig Stand are great memories, the pot luck dinners late at night and one memorable last night for Gene the dancing machine. When my husband and I would work bingo on Saturday night in Cherryvale Roger and Donna would let our son sit with them and help him with his cards. Jonathon really those times and thought Roger was the best buddy a kid could have. We are truly sorry for the Palmer family's loss.

When I was in high school I want to work at the stockyards with my brothers and I ask Rog If i could work there and since Rog was a Forman there he got me hired!! Another memory I would like to share is that every time my horse needed his shots I would ride my horse a mile down the to the Palmer's ( me 2nd home!) and Rog would give my horse his shots!! I have alot of great memories with him hauling me and my horse along with his crew to the parades and
the rodeos grandentery! Great times!

Many fond memories of Roger and trying to keep up with him in the Hay field; growing up around Angola and then going to school at Altamont. I always had the utmost respect for Roger (and his family), the community was a better place because of him. Rest in peace Roger.
