Dear family of Mrs. Doris Gowen,
Please accept my condolences on the passing of your mother. Mrs. Gowen was a friend to my family when we were new to the U.S. and showed us so much love and support. She and Mr. Gowen are in many of my family’s memories, with their smiles and kind words. I met them when I was five years old and remember thinking how pretty Mrs. Gowen was. She will be missed but take comfort knowing that she touched so many people during her life.
