Jason E. Hoover, 43, of Coffeyville, Kansas, died Sunday, November 29, 2020. Jason was born on August 31, 1977, in Coffeyville, Kansas to parents Mickey and Donna Sue (Wishall) Hoover. He attended and graduated from Field Kindley in Coffeyville. He then attended Pittsburg State University. Jason worked for John Deere Warehouse in Coffeyville. He married Valerie Grider on March 26, 2015. The couple made their home in Coffeyville. Jason loved building RC cars, watching the Chicago White Sox and wrestling. He was the Kansas State Wrestling Champion in 1996. Although, if you were to ask Jason what his biggest accomplishment in life was, he would say "the birth of his daughter, Abbey and gaining a son, Noah through his soulmate, Valerie". Jason was a prankster and loved joking with his family and friends. He loved his family and will be missed but never forgotten. Jason was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Jerry and Carol Hoover, maternal grandparents John and Nellie Wishall, grandmother Marie Wishall, uncle Terry Hoover, aunt Ruth Wishall, uncle Marvin Jones and aunts Jean Hoover and Juanita Green. He is survived by his wife, Valerie, of the home, son Noah Grider, daughter Abbigail Hoover, parents Mickey and Donna Hoover, brother Jeremy and wife Genessa Hoover, mother and father-in-law Eddie and Brenda Grider, brother-in- law Brian Grider, aunts and uncles Randy and Debbie Adams, Russell and Connie Robson, Linda Jones, Jack and Freda Wishall, Jim Wishall, Jerry and Barbara Wishall, Joe Wishall, Jay and Cookie Wishall, Ed and Pam Wishall, Mary Wishall and Phil and Patty Jones; cousins Rocky and Sally Adams, Dusty and Patty Adams, Brad and Stephanie Stringer, Russ Robson, Ryan and Jayne Robson, Chelsi Hoover, Greg and Angela Vowell, Jeanette Wishall, Teresa Wishall, Mike and Lisa Wagner, Dan Wishall, Tom and Misty Wishall, Jason and Joyce Jones, Klaus and Rachel Fairweather, Nick and Kayla Cetrulo, Adam and Allison Wishall, Wade Wishall, Jason and Kristi Purser, Ted and Sarah Flauding, Michelle Finnegan, David and Becca Finnegan, Garrett and Laura Wishall, Tyler and Emily Shields, John Wishall, Tyler Wishall, Ben and Mallory Wishall, Audrey Wishall, Luke and Amanda Tackett, Shawn and Sandy Thomas, Matt and Irene Jones and Drew Jones and numerous other cousins and family members. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Sunday, December 6th, with the family greeting friends from 3:30 to 5pm, at the Coffeyville First Church of the Nazarene. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 7th at 2:00 pm, also at the Coffeyville First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Ford Hall officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making donations to the Coffeyville Kids Wrestling Club or Field Kindley High School Wrestling Program; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W.
