I want to thank everyone for their kind words it has meant a lot to his family. My Dad was a wonderful person and was always able to help everyone who needed. His was a fierce protector of his family. He was the kindest most gentle man. I hope that I can live on earth just like he did.

To the family: We wish to extend our sympathy. Darrell and Roger worked at the Scottsbluff Refinery. Roger moved to Coffeyville, KS in 1982 ~ Darrell moved to Quitman, TX to Farmland's Gas Division. Roger was a great person to know.

Prayers and condolences to all of Rodger's family. We met when he traveled to Oregon as a teenager with his family to visit family members who were neighbors of my family. Many years later through our common love of genealogy Rodger discovered that we are actually related through his maternal grandmother. My special condolences to his sister Karen.
