Glenda and I were inseparatable through Jr. High. We had so much fun, might have caused a few teachers stress as we would always answer for each other just to tease them (& we liked being funny). I remember several walks to and from school, me (5'3) walking between Glenda and her cousin, Carol (who I think was 1/2 taller than Glenda) I loved that time we had together. And I was so excited Glenda found me on F/B when I was still figuring out how it all worked. We wanted so much to get together again, but health issues kept us from traveling. I miss you Glenda! I miss your emails, F/B comments, talking to you, and just knowing we would get together again. When God calls me home, I know you'll be one of the first to greet me, I'll be looking for you. Until them my prayers are with you, Richard and Pam, may God stay ever close to you both.

Rick and Pam: Our beautiful and loving sister-in-law Glenda will be sadly missed by all. Her wonderful sense of humor and kindness to all, will be greatly missed. She came into our family, and within minutes charmed us all with her fun loving nature, and accent. Her passing will leave a hole in all our hearts.

I am so sorry for your and Pam's loss. I can't imagine the grief felt losing someone after spending 50 "special" years with them. You two were so lucky to have found each other those many years ago. She was a special lady, and I'm sure left you with many wonderful memories. As you know my thoughts and prayers are with you and Pam.

Glenda would be pleased with the comments that are posted by our good friends as am I & Pam. We miss her terribly and are slowly healing.
As husband and wife for over 50 years, we kind of became one and now part of my heart is missing. She was a wonderful woman who gave me a wonderful daughter and years of happiness. Her suffering is over and now she is at peace with our Lord. I will love and miss her always.

Glenda will be missed. Every time I would call and need Richard to come help me work on my boat, or fix something that was beyond my capabilities (which is most everything), Glenda would always answer the phone, was cheerful, and then send Richard to my house. When I would stop by (usually with boat in tow because I needed something fixed) Glenda was always happy, I never recall ever seeing her in a bad mood. It will be very odd calling or stopping by and not hearing or seeing Glenda. In a very similar way, this reminds me of coming back from deployment and walking down the hall in the barracks passing a door that used to be occupied by a buddy but the room is now empty. It is something you just never get used to. Glenda was a very special person and she has left me with that feeling of an empty room.
Richard, you know where I live, give me a call if you need anything, not that there is much I can do because you seem to help me most of the time, but I am here if you need me. There are still fish in the lake that we have not caught yet.

Rick & Pam, even though I didn't get to spend a lot of time with you when I was home for visits, I will always remember my cousin as a go getter and doing all that she could. We always could set and talk about all the family reunions and laugh so much, I know I will miss that and our heart felted prayers are with you both.

I will miss my big sis. Joetta and I were recalling funny stories about Glenda when we were younger. She took us downtown on our first bus ride to go shopping and spend her very first pay check, we had a ball. She was very generous and such a beautiful person. Our first trip dragging Douglas in Wichita, we (Joetta and I) were told to sit on our feet so we appeared taller, we had a ball with big sis. Rick and Pam I know you are going to miss her and my prayers are with you. Love

Dearest Rich and Pam:
Our hearts are broken for you both and our own. During the years we have known you we became family that grew close to each other. We have made wonderful memories together that we will continue to remember with love- Winfield fried chicken along with the Christmas tour of their park, trips to Joplin to shop the mall and more good food, eating at Buck's, Thanksgiving dinner at the Green Door, going to Fort LeonardWood & more good food(!), trading books, talking about books, jewelry shopping - Glenda taught me I can wear those "big" rings, and most of all the time she threw her leg up into the front seat and asked Jerry to rub her foot! How we all laughed at that and still do. Your many phone calls checking on Jerry when he was so critically ill will always be remembered - they helped me so much. Our hearts are heavy with sadness but know Glenda is smiling down on everyone. We Love you -

Hi Rick & Pam! It is so hard to believe she is gone. We wanted very much to get together again and visit. As usual, we delay, thinking we have time for everything.
We both were having health problems that kept getting in the way of doing things. I feel a big loss even though we were so far apart and couldn't visit like we wanted. She will always be in my heart and memories. I prayed for both Rick and her every day.
Am praying now for Rick to be able to get through this very rough time and you also Pam. Love you both very much. Take care.
