Glenda Fern Koerner, age 70, of Sedan passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at her home in Sedan.
She was born on March 11, 1943 in Sedan, Kansas to Keaver C. Sanborn and Wanda M. Copeland. She attended schools in Wichita, Kansas and later received her GED.
She married Richard Koerner on November 27, 1962 in Sedan, Kansas where they made their home for a short time. They lived in several places such as Minneapolis, Minnesota before moving back to Sedan in July of 2004.
She worked for many years as a retail clerk for Kohl's Retail Store until her retirement in 2000
She enjoyed reading, shopping, and her bling jewelry.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Koerner of the home in Sedan; one daughter, Pamela Jane Koerner of Minneapolis, Minnesota; two sisters, Joetta Hartman of Sedan, Kansas, Sharon Kay Kemp of Wichita, Kansas; two half sisters, Beverly Warren of Rose Hill, Kansas and Judy Greer of Denver, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by one sister and her parents.
Cremation has taken place and the family has scheduled no services at this time.
