Dear family of dear Ann,
With a very heavy heart I write this morning, because I just became aware of Ann's passing. Kathryn, I have fond memories of you in your house, Don in his easy chair, and a very busy home with all your children. I loved spending time there with Ann. We had such fun, and later she was a steadfast friend, helping me through some of my life's biggest challenges (including those days after my baby Stacie was herself called to heaven.) When life's turns took us in different directions, her to Mike and Coffeyville and me to four daughters to raise, she remained one of the few people I trusted to be a loyal and loving friend no matter the time or distance between us. She earned her wings right here on earth. I will NEVER forget how her eyes sparkled when she smiled that radiant smile of hers, or the positive energy that flowed when she hugged and how SAFE those hugs made me feel. If you were her family or her friend, you were blessed, and you knew you had been given a heavenly gift in knowing and being loved by Ann.
Mike, my heart breaks for you. Donna, she adored you and your daughter ( Cheryl, is it?). Walt, she was proud of you beyond measure. Curt, always her beloved little brother. You are all in my prayers, and my heart goes out to you in these sad months when you are so sorely missing your sweet, sensible, loving, fun Ann. I hope it helps for you to know how many lives she touched on this earth. Heaven is richer than ever because she is there.
