Obituary of Ann Weeks

Coffeyville - Ann K. Weeks, 61 of Coffeyville passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at her home. She was born February 25, 1952 at Wichita to Donald and Kathryn (Madigan) Hibarger. Ann grew up and attended school in Wichita, graduating from Wichita South High School in 1970. Following high school she attended Friends University in Wichita. On August 27, 1976 she married Mike Weeks at Independence. Following their marriage they made their home in Coffeyville. Ann was employed at ACC now Standard Motor Products in Independence for 36 years. Ann was an avid reader, she enjoyed bowling, playing cards, swimming, and loved dogs. Survivors include her husband, Mike Weeks of the home; her mother, Kathryn Brenner of Wichita; one sister Donna Crist of Wichita; and two brothers, Dr. Walter Hibarger of Weston, MO, and Curtis Hibarger of Wichita. She was preceded in death by her father, and one brother, Robert Hibarger on March 7, 2013. Following Ann's wishes cremation will take place, a Memorial Service celebrating her life will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the Veterans Memorial Patio in Fairview Cemetery with David Bycroft of the Tyro Christian Church officiating. Inurnment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may sign the register book on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
