I really don't know what to say I was at work when I found out today! I'm so sorry sister Kay I wish I lived closer.. Kay, Cheryl and Barbara, I am so sorry for your loss and pray that Jesus give you His peace. Eddie will be greatly missed. I remember all the trips Eddie and Kay made taking my sister and I to church. He was one of my spiritual fathers. My life would have been so different if you had not made that time for us. Eddie is with the Savior He has spent his life serving and waiting for. We can only imagine what he already knows:

Kay and family We share in your sense of loss with Eddie's death, but we rejoice with you in knowing that he has reached home and that we will be reunited with him one day. We're grateful that we were able to reconnect with you and other Chi Alpha alums during the past few years. It is so hard to believe another one of us is gone. So many fond memories of Eddie from school and as a neighbor. He had this genuine smile all the time & always took time to talk when you seen him. Loving memories live on forever. There is no doubt that Rev. Eddie was more prepared than most of us to enter eternal life.
I well remember the comfort he offered to Jo Ann and me at the death of our Mother and the message he offered at her funeral service.

Kay, girls and family, we are so sorry to hear of the loss of Brother Eddie, he was an awesome person and servant of God. Dear Kay and family:
Became acquainted with Eddie when my mother, Lena, was in a nursing home with Eddie and Johnny's mother. Eddie and Johnny were always so kind to mother and always took the time to stop and visit with her. Eddie always prayed with and for mother. He always put a smile on her face with his kindness.
