Dear Greg and Gary, I am so sad to hear this sad news about your mother. Some of my best memories growing up in Sedan were my friendship with both of you and the times that I stayed out at your family farm in Niotaze. Your mother was such a sweet, generous woman and was always so nice to me. I will never forget her and how she always made me feel so welcome in your home. i am so sad to hear of Mrs. Henderson's passing. She was my favorite teacher of all time. Taught me in the 3rd grade and discovered i needed glasses. I was her class aide when i was a Junior in High School and my graduating year I won the BPW scholarship and she asked to present it to me which meant a lot to me. Although she was a little disappointed that i no longer wanted to be a teacher but had decided to be a hairdresser.lol! I really loved her. RIP

Dear Henderson Family, I am so sorry to hear of Marie's death. She was such a wonderful strong lady. Life certainly was no easy for her on the farm and certainly during the depression years when all of the lar ge Bruce family lived together on the farm with no money. Bruce told us that they had no money for one year and yet they survived together on the farm. She is the last of all of that generation and it is so sad to think of that and even more so to realize that we follow in their foot steps. Know y ou are loved and have our deepest sympathy. A wonderful aunt, a wonderful strong lady. Although distance has separated us, I still feel close and am going to miss Aunt Marie very much. She is the last of that generation of the Bruce family and it is hard to let them go. To Gary and Greg and families, you had a great mother and grandmother. I share in your loss.
