Cheryl was born May 21, 1946 in Caney Kansas to Jim and Rose Rogers. She passed away January 7th, 2013 in Tulsa Oklahoma. Cheryl graduated from Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville Kansas and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Cheryl made her home in Ardmore Oklahoma. She was employed by Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma where she was employed until her retirement. Cheryl was an avid reader and writer and had several of her articles published. She was a long time member of the Arbuckle Creative Writers as well as a member of MENSA.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Michele and Craig Barr of Tulsa,OK; Terri and Lanny Eubanks of Coffeyville, KS and one Step-son; Ryan and Julie Hunnicutt. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 Step-Grandchildren: Sandy and Brian Eubanks of Coffeyville, KS; Adam and Brienne Bowles of Parsons KS, Ben and Georgia Bowles of Colorado Springs CO, David and Jacob Barr of Tulsa OK; Mickey, Mary and Emily Hunnicutt of Ardmore OK; and one great grandson Mac Bowles of Parsons, KS. Also surviving, a Sister, Connie Dugan of Wichita KS and, a brother, Jim Rogers of Bixby OK.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin Williams, and Glen Hunnicutt.
A memorial service will be held January 12th, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Church of Christ in Coffeyville KS with visitation following the service.
