We enjoyed knowing Fern and being a next door neighbor for several years. We didn't get to visit too often because she was usually working. Can't remember too many people with her work ethic. I had her great grandson, Zach, in my first grade classroom and was she ever proud of him through the years. I'm sure she was special to all in her family. A jewel she was.
