Jack W. Clemons, 73, of Coffeyville passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 11, 1935 at Labette, KS to Orville and May (Yandle) Clemons. He attended school at Oswego and Coffeyville graduating from Field Kindley High School.
He married Marianne Pugh, they were later divorced.
Mr. Clemons was employed for many years at the Foodtown Grocery Store and later was employed at Aptus Environmental Service both in Coffeyville.
Jack attended the First Baptist Church in Coffeyville, and enjoyed attending Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Sporting events.
Survivors include one daughter, Kim Sterling of McCune, KS; his mother May Clemons of Coffeyville; one brother, Duane Clemons of Glenpool, OK; and one grandchild.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Coffeyville with Dr. Wayne Norton officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.
Friends may call on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
