Dan Bryant and I were co-workers for 15 years. We ate lunch together almost day during those years. Dan exposed me to a heavy dose of jazz and blues, sometimes more than I could bear. He also pressed me to learn taxes. He was truly one of the most remarkable men I have ever known. He was very smart with a rather unique sense of humor. Dan was very fond of his dogs, and he had an insatiable love for reading and music, with a special flair for jazz and blues. These loves were superceded only by his love for his family.

Dear Janet and Paige,
When Jerry called and gave us the news about Danny, we were so shocked and so saddened. We are living in AZ and didn't arrive back in Tulsa until Thursday night. I am so sorry we couldn't make it to his service. Although we haven't been in touch much these last few years, please know we thought about you all often. I remember when Aunt Lillian and Uncle Dan brought Danny home as a baby - I was fascinated by him. He always gave me grief about being 8 years older - his sense of humor was wonderful and we admired his knowledge of many things. Please know that you both are in our thoughts and certainly in our prayers. I hope all the good memories will give you comfort. Take care.

I was a classmate of Dan's at PSU in the MBA program. Dan was our resident humorist, keeping all of us balanced between the stresses of lectures, tests and studytime. He was a serious student and often contributed to the academic advancement of the entire class. Our paths crossed only once following our PSU experience - we met at a Medical Group Medical Association meeting in Las Vegas. I am sorry that I did not keep in contact with Dan.
