I am saddened to hear of the recent passing of Ellie. I met Ellie on a NASCAR message board in 2001 and chatted to her on many occasions during the years 2001 and 2002. I had lost touch with her until last year when she sought out my contact details through mutual friends from the message boards. She did so to express her concern and support upon hearing of the terrible earthquakes that had struck the city in which I live in 2010 and 2011. I thought this was an incredibly kind and thoughtful gesture and I was very appreciative of her message of support during our difficult times. I would like to express my sincere condolences to her family.
