Gene, you and Jann always made me welcome at your place. Your house was pretty much a second home, growing up. Between my folks and the two of you, I was a well taken care of young man. I have many fond memories of getting muddy as hell in the creek behind your house, trips to the swimming pool with James and Jann, many other great times growing up next door to you guys, and of course, as my dad mentioned, a couple of not so fun trips to the ER that any young boy should have. The two of you have been some of the most prominent figures in my life. Jann will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by many, not the least of which is me.
