I grew up in the 1300 block of West 5th St in the 60s and 70s. I went all through school with Bill's younger sister Ann. Ann and I were great friends. I was as the Currier house a lot, playing basketball, climbing up to the tree house or riding in the golf cart. (Ann's dad drove us up and down the ally) I liked all of Ann's family very much! Bill or Billy Bob, as I called him was a joy to know all those years. Like Ann, I was 6 years younger than Bill. I was just the skinny kid from across the street but I remember how welcome Bill always made me feel at thier house. He was always so nice to me when I came knocking at the families front door. If Ann wasn't home, Bill would sit on the porch and talk to me. We talked about different cars we liked. Bill had a great sense of humor. He let me sit in his first car, a somewhat rusty old Ford. Maybe a '53? I would pretend I was driving. I helped him wash his VW Bug a couple of times. Many years later he cut my hair at his salon. I will never forget Bill. I will never forget his kindness, his laughter or his smile. He will be missed by many many people. Due to years of his serious heart problems, he wasn't here as long as we all wanted him to be. He touched all of our lives and I will always smile when I think of Bill Currier. I will be keeping Bill's family close in my heart, my thoughts and prayers. I am happy I knew him.

Curriesr Family,
My heart is saddened to hear of Bill's passing. He was a man of compassion, kindness, generosity, and multiple talents. He saw the good in others and I saw the good in him. Loved visiting with him when he did my hair for so many years. It gives me comfort to know that in his passing from this life God was there to receive him into a much better place. No more heart problems. I pray for peace and comfort for each of you.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Bill. I graduated with Bill and then he did my hair forever. I never once had seen him without a "SMILE" on his face. He never had an unkind word to say about anybody. I know heaven is a brighter place now that they have Bill up there with his smile. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers during this hard time.

Cathy, I definitely remember meeting your "little" brother way back in the 70s and I remember him as witty, intelligent, polite and kind. I'm very sorry that he has died so young, and you and your family will be in my prayers.

Currier family I am sorry for your loss. I also feel the pain of losing Bill. He was such a good friend, always there for me no matter what. Bill loved life, he loved to entertain, he loved adventure. Bill was generous in so many ways yet so grateful for the things given to him. I miss you my friend.

My Condolences to the Currier Family. Bill was a great friend. He was the kind-of friend that stood by you no matter what. I will remember most, His Laugh and big smile, His love of friends, his kindness and sincerity, and his general belief that everyone is good and means well. I will miss wholeheartedly, the person that I pick up the phone to call first - the person that I laugh and cry with, and the person with whom I both morn and celebrate. His memory will always be with me and I am so grateful for having known him.
