Laudine: as you know, Nolan was one of my "Dads". I have so many wonderful memories of him during our camping trips in the summers when we lived in Coffeyville. He loved letting us play at the farm. He never got mad when we tore up the hay in the barn, and laughed so hard when he squirted us (and the cat)with milk while milking the cow. He had the biggest hands I ever saw and was one of the most gentle men I ever knew. I've been lucky to have had one great Dad, but to have had two was a miracle.

Dear Coach,
I want to thank you on behalf of myself and the many players who came to Coffeyville and how you impacted all of our lives. You did not care if we were the best player or the worst player you would find a way to encourage each of us in such a special way.
As a Coach I am honored to have the opportunity to coach beside you for 16 years. You were a great mentor and taught me how to be a great man. You taught me the importance of how you treat people and that good things will happen as long as you were honest and cared for people.
As a man I always admired how you respected Laudine and always treated her like a true partner should be treated. If I was only half a man as you were I would be ok.
Thanks for allowing me to be a small part of your life. I Love you Coach and know you are in a better place and someday I will see you again.

Laudine, Florene and family,
I've read about your loved one, Nolan, and am amazed at his rich life and accomplishments. I know he will be so missed by all of you and wanted you to know that Michael and I are thinking of you all, especially as you find your own ways of saying good-bye. Good-bye for awhile anyway. Our love, Judith (and Michael) LeFevre

One of the most gracious and kind people we have ever met. A friend to all, always the same kind, friendly and time to give even when you knew he had other things to do.
Thanks Nolan, we'll always remember the example you set for all of us.
See ya on the other side of the Pearly Gates.
Laudine, we'll be praying for you and also thank you for being a dear friend. Will come by and vist with you this summer.

Nolan was a part of our family and will be missed. I still think of the time he took with Mishele, and Michael. He would get the biggest enjoyment out of teasing them, as did they. They still speak of the good times in sleep overs at the "Luhn's. We are saddened , but thankful in knowing Nolan as long as we did. You know he is in God's company, and in that we can take comfort.
