I was told by a mutual friend of Ron's passing. I am so very sorry for your loss. I only met him because of his friendship with my deceased husband, Dick Coover, but so enjoyed Ron when we did see him & you.

Ron Kimple was one of those rare people you meet through your life that made you a better person, through his friendship. He could also mentor, father, and council all in one conversation. He loved Janet more than the world and everyone knew it. He set the highest bar for taking care of you wife and family! I am proud to say I knew Ron for more than 30 years, and always knew he was only a phone call away for anything. As others have said he was one of the most generous people that shared his success of his hard work to his family and many, many people. As I will miss Ron, I shall always have many memories of that contagious laugh that put us all in stitches and that smile that could light up a room. How lucky I was to have such a friend! My thoughts and prayers to all Ron's family, he is in a great place now.

When Ron called and said that he had a year to live but that he was on Hospice-I had a pain in my heart and my stomach. I had enjoyed conversations and associations with Ronnie for sixty years. I already miss him and want to pick up the phone and call him.
He truly and thoroughly loved Janet. He loved his weekly trips to Sedan. Know that love gave him peace in passing.
Never could get him to visit us in California. He was too happy and contented in Kansas.
My condolances to all of his family and friends.

Dear Janet and Cash and extended family,
Ron, as we all know was a wonderful man and we in Minnesota are so sad for your and our loss. I so much loved talking to him about Labs and ceramics. Without his input the industry would never have made it to the heights it did. We all, nation wide, applaude his business expertice and input. I liked most his dry humor and also that he could hit those damn quail so we had something to take home.
He will always be in my thougths when I pick up a shotgun or send a Lab out to retrieve.
Thanks for the memories Ron. Your are one of a kind and will be missed by everyone that knew you.

To Aunt Janet-
I was so sorry to hear today of Uncle Ron's passing. I have always love him. His life's standards, and loving kindness have been a guide for me all my life. I have such wonderful memories of my summers spent with you both as a child growing up. I have often thought of how my life would have been so very different if I had only said yes to living with you when I was just a kid. I truly believe that the inspiration to build a business was taught to me through long summer time visits to Kansas. My desire to have and create a family that loves and respects each other with stability of a life long husband came from you both showing me how a marriage can be when you choose the right person. I was and am proud to be your niece. May all those who have known Uncle Ron always remember the wonderful warm heart he had for those around him. I hope that you will have the support of many loving family members at this time. Please send my love and sympathy on to Cash as well.
Sincerely,
Lisa Smiley

Janet & Cash
I was surprised when dad called yesterday with the news. Dave & I talked and agreed it was just like Ron to not let his troubles be known. Everytime I was around Ron I enjoyed it. He was pleasant, would always show interest in others and so easy to talk to even when we were young. I recall when we were just old enough to drive and we would bring you firewood. Always had a great visit, good food and then Ron would pay us way too much for the firewood and tell us to put it to good use. I'll never forget the times at aunt Jennie's - certainly we could story about that for hours. Janet I know your heart is full of wonderful memories and I pray these put a smile on your face in the days ahead. My memories of Ron make me, and I'm sure many others, smile.
