I was saddened when I heard of the news of Paula's passing, but rejoice in the knowledge that she is in heaven, taking comfort in the arms of Jesus, and experiencing what I can only imagine. She always had a warm smile and a kind word for all those who encountered her. It goes without saying and is a forgone conclusion that she will be sorely missed, but it is not "good bye" but merely "so long".

Hello Family
Paula was one of the best. I always loved being her friend. She was always such a possitive person and friend. We use to run around together when we were young and then I moved away and didn't get to see much of her. I did get to visit with her a couple of years ago and I have talked to her on the phone and email since she found out about her cancer. I will truley miss her, as I know you will. Give my love to all. My mom, Fonda Howard and Francis were good friends and wanted me to tell everyone that they are in her prayers also. Fonda and David have now moved to Hutchinson and are near me. May God be with all of you as I know that that is where Paula is now.. ..

Jerry, Francis and girls, I was very sorry to hear about Paula.. I've known her all of my life. We went to Longfellow. Junior high and high school together. I have a a few very good memories of Paula. Went she went to Longfellow and her family moved across town she had a slumber-birthday party and I was invited. We had a great time, but one thing I will never forget is the next morning her mom fixed us waffles, thar was a big deal because I had never had them before. At that time we both attended the Assembly of God Church in Coffeyville, so we spent a lot of time together. When I got married we later moved to Arkansas. Every year I went home for Mothers Day- I will never forget her standing in the choir and the minute she seen me out in the audience she would have a big smile and start waving at me. The minute church was over she would come running back and give me a big hug. We didn't see each other very much, but we both knew we would always be there. She has a beautiful family and a wonderful mother. Her parents were friends of mine, which are now deceased. She is loved by many and we will always miss her. May God Bless all of you. Please give Francis a hug and kiss for me. Jerry, girls and family please accept my deepest sympathy and always remember how much she loved you. Carol Fowler Ragan

My heart goes out to you for the pain you feel with your loss. Paula was a wonderful person, touching many lives. She will be greatly missed by all. A great Christian woman. Love you all and you are in my prayers. May the words to this song give you comfort.
Our prayers have all been answered. I finally arrived.
The healing that had been delayed has now been realized.
No one's in a hurry. There's no schedule to keep.
We're all enjoying Jesus, just sitting at His feet.
If you could see me now, I'm walking streets of gold.
If you could see me now, I'm standing strong and whole.
If you could see me now, you'd know I've seen His face.
If you could see me now, you'd know the pain is erased.
You wouldn't want me to ever leave this place,
If you could only see me now.

My sympathy goes to all members of the family. When I was on the Board I use to refer to her as "Mrs. Jerry". We had a lot of conversations many times when I worked there in the church and she was my "right hand" when I served as Secretary on the Deacon Board. She was a lovely person and I always enjoyed being around her. I know words can not make this time easier for the family but she was loved and respected by many, and will be missed. She was a true Christian lady who loved her husband and her family. My prayers are with the family. I know that time will somewhat"heal" the pain felt now , but the memories that remain of her will always be there. May God stengthen you all during this time.
