I logged on the funeral home website as I do from time to time and was very shocked at the news. I remember Gary and Skip primering an old Ford in Edna Kansas using the old hand pump fly sprayers. They bought every sprayer that the hardware store had. My prayers are with the family, and I know that he brightened up heaven.

Gary was a most kind and thoughtful person, even as a teenager. While working at the skating rink, he would take time to talk to everyone. Always having a kind word to say. I so appreciated him skating with me and leaving me with the most wonderful memories. If there is a skating rink in heaven, Gary will have his whistle and be "head master". Many blessings go out to his family.
Sincerely,
Susan Mischelle Misch Hoop

I worked with Mr.Eubanks at the hospital when he was an auxillary volunteer. Every morning after finishing my night shift, I would see him bright and early setting out the wheel chairs. He always seemed to be the first volunteer here. No matter what I looked like after a long night of work, he would always tell me I looked nice. He was such a sweet man. I will always remember him and the joy he brought to my heart right when I needed it the most. His family is in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace Gary.

When my brother Larry called yesterday and told me about Gary's passing I was so saddened. I also recall the fun times our families enjoyed. I can still recall the smiling faces of Smoky and Lahoma, they were such sweet people. That sweetness was in Gary too, he was such a sweet guy that genuinely cared for others and he will be missed by alot of people, family and friends alike.
With prayers of comfort for your family,
The Don and Jean Johnston family

Gary was a great guy. There was not a person he didn't know in Coffeyville, and he was always there to lend a ear or a helping hand. I would leave Coffeyville early in the mornings after visiting with my Mother, and stop at the Convenient store around 5:00 a.m. Gary and his brother were always there drinking coffee. He was always a delight to talk to. I also would see him at the hospital doing volunteer work. He was one of a kind. He always mentioned you, Sean. He was proud of his only son. May God bless you all at this time of your sorrow.
