The Paul Family just heard of Wanda's death from a Greeter at walmart in Coffeyville that past wekend when we were in town for the DDD's. We ( Paul family Jim, Cheryl our son Vince, and my sister Susan Paul) met wanda at the EE in about 1985. We started eating with her when we came in to Coffeyville to decorate our parents graves. I am a counselor in Wichita and we talked about our occupations and became good friends with Wanda. She was so nice to all of us. She loved our son. Vince now a MD. In Dec, 2001 my sister Susan died and wanda came out to our grave site ceremony to honor her. WE (family) are saddened of her death, Sorry I didnt know of it. We Loved Wanda. What a neat, intelligent and kind lady she was. Jim Paul & Family

Wanda knew me since I was an infant. She would always give me a big hug every time I saw her and ask how 'her baby' was doing.
I always enjoyed seeing her at Knights of Columbus bingo or at Wal-Martthose seemed to be the two places we'd always run into each other at.
I will miss seeing her out and about around town. May her soul rest in peace through the mercy of God. Amen.

What an awesome ladywith a smile, sense of humor and personality that you had to love. On February 26th, Wanda was cheerfully working and serving food after my aunt's homegoing celebration. The next day the Lord called her home. Thank you Wanda for being such an important part of my life.you were loved. Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.
With much love and respect,

Wanda was a blessing to everyone she came into contact with. When I was going to college at CCC, I worked at the Pizza Hut. When she came in, we cut up a whole lemon and gave her about 20 packets of sugar with her water. :) That was back in the mid 1980's and when I saw her a few months back, we laughed about it. Any time I thought of Coffeyville, I thought of Wanda, and smiled.

This news breaks my heart. Wanda was more than a friend to me. In the late 70's she was like a mom. She was definitely a mentor who set the stage for my future work ethics. I was her secretary when she ran the CETA program. I had the privilege of learning from the very best. We kept in touch throughout the years and I will never forget Wanda Knox. The last time I saw Wanda was a little over a year ago at my aunts funeral and I came back to Coffeyville for the service. I heard someone yelling "My Baby!". It was Wanda! We had a wonderful visit. Thank you Wanda, for your love, patience and wisdom. You touched many young lives and definitely made a huge difference in mine. Love You Always, Lisa

Ms Wanda will be greatly missed. I had the privilage working and being one of her "kids" for the past 20 + years. She always checked up on me with my dad and I always checked up on her the same way. She had a great big and caring manner and heart. I always looked forward to catching up when I came back to Coffeyville. I will miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I remember Mrs. Wanda Knox as a child thru my adult years and becoming a parent myself, she was a GREAT influence on all the children & Young adults in Coffeyville.
I remember her especially from the local Coffeyville Parades and the boasting she would do on "Her KIDS".. She will deeply be missed by all that knew her and loved her. May she rest in peace and may The Gates of Heaven open & welcome her with the biggest Parade ever..
